Kenneth Kenny Loo Lewis Music Producer Kenneth A. Lewis Jr, a.k.a. Kenny Loo is a man on a mission, a mission to be the music industrys next mega music producer. With big shoes to fill like Timbaland, The Neptunes, Danjahandz, Nottz and Missy Elliott, this 21 year old Virginia native is on the fast track to the world of soundtracks. His sound, an eclectic array of unorthodox arrangements and instrumentation has caught the attention of many industry insiders. From V.A. to New York; the word is out; Kenny Loo has what they call nowadays That Fire. Born December 4, 1986 in Portsmouth, Virginia into a musical family, Little Kenny, called by family and close friends knew early on that he was destined to find his way through music. Like most musicians it started early on, in the home. Kennys father Kenny Sr. (Chan) was and still is a phenomenal vocalist who sang in the family band in the early 70s. This influence Kenny Jr. who explains, It happened without me even realizing it, because my Pops only sang and listened to the oldies. So, its no surprise that Kenny Loo himself can hold a note and hold it well. At the tender age of 8, he started taking piano lessons and in elementary school he would enter a reflections contest where he played an original song that he wrote and composed himself. Although it placed second, to the fledging musician it was a major accomplishment. Soon he would start singing around the house with his sister. This eventually led him to join the male choir at his church and also start a young gospel group where he and his sister would perform at local area churches. By the time he was in middle school Little Kenny had started to develop a keen musical sense which led to several accolades such as All City Band and Jazz Band honors. Later while, attending High School he received even more recognition for his musical talents by becoming a member of the Virginia Honor Band an accomplishment that he would enjoy for three consecutive years. During those years Kenny not only played in the marching band, he played in his high schools jazz band as well as volunteer work with the schools orchestra, all in an effort to hone his craft. At 16, he became the youngest member in a drum corp. named Carolina Gold where he traveled up and down the East Coast performing in marching band shows. That experience prepared him for the next step in his music journey, a full band scholarship to Hampton University where he currently attends as a junior and section leader of the bands drum line. At H.U. Kenny is majoring in music technology and engineer, a seamless and nature choice for the would-be super producer. Over the last three years, due mostly in part to his major , Kenny Loo has slowly been transitioning musically from on the stage and field to in the studio behind the controls. The incorporation of all his musical exposure and training is starting to become apparent as doors are beginning to open. As of recent Kenny has connect with his cousin Darren (Chum) Lewis, a producer now living in New Jersey. The two are in negotiations to sign Kenny to a production deal with Chums Enterprize Entertainment Group, a record label and media conglomerate. The sky is the limited for this young musical maestro.
